Cowboy Dream Investing, LLC is owned and managed by Dr. Ray Maleh. Dr. Maleh holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics. His technical areas of specialization include signal processing, data-mining, machine learning, compressive sensing, probability/statistics, and algorithm design. Just two years out of grad school, he already has over 15 refereed publications and has a patent in the works. Dr. Maleh is also a college professor in his spare time: he teaches computer science courses such as Java Programming, Object Oriented Design and Analysis, Algorithm
Design, and others.
Dr. Maleh and his team have decided to apply their extensive knowledge of signals and efficient machine learning algorithms to develop software that predicts the medium term (month-to-month) behavior of the stock market. They are constantly striving to improve their algorithms by utilizing the latest state-of-the-art research from academia and industry to develop experimental strategies which are tested via extensive monte-carlo simulations using years of historical stock data. Once validated, the experimental algorithms are then used in real life to generate maximal returns. We have employed the use of many strategies over the last few years including neural networks (incorporating both fundamental and technical data), pattern finding, stochastic calculus, information theoretic methods, etc.
